Officers Injured After Thugs Ram Vehicle In Warrenpoint

Two police officers have been injured after thugs rammed into their vehicle several times in Warrenpoint.

Officers received reports of men acting suspiciously in the area and police recovered a camper van which had been stolen in the Dundalk area as a result of a burglary.

The men involved made off and rammed a police vehicle a number of times.

They were last seen in the area of the Dallan Road / Clonallan Road.

Police are appealing for anyone with information top contact them.

Officers injured as police vehicle is rammed at high speed
Two police officers have been slightly injured when their vehicle was rammed at high speed in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast. The incident occurred at Brompton Park in the Ardoyne area of North Belfast. A police spokesperson said that the police vehicle was rammed at high speed by a car shortly after 3:30 am on Wednesday morning.

Four Men Arrested For Dissident Activity
Four men have been arrested in Newtownabbey on suspicion of dissident republican activity. PSNI officers detained the men on Thursday evening aged 30,35 and 46. They are being questioned in Antrim police station.
