Man's Body Discovered At Shaw's Bridge
An investigation has been launched into discovery of a man's body at Shaw's Bridge in south Belfast.
Police have confirmed that the body was discovered at the popular walking site today, 14 July.
Police said that an investigation is underway but no further details are yet available.
Linfield FC Issue Safety Advice To Celtic Fans
Linfield Football Club have issued advice to any Celtic fans planning to attend tonight's Champions League qualifier.
Both Linfield and Celtic football clubs have asked Celtic fans not to purchase tickets for the game but accept that some may have done so.
Celtic fans should only proceed to the Stadium via the Boucher Road and then, under the instructions of Stewards and the PSNI, to the Kop Stand.
These supporters should arrive at the stadium after 3.30pm to ensure access to the game. Celtic fans will not be admitted to any other part of the ground and Linfield fans should not enter the stadium from the Boucher Road.
No further tickets for tonight's game are available and all spectators are urged to behave in a respectful and sporting manner.
Farmer Convicted Of Transporting Unfit Animal
A County Tyrone farmer has been convicted on one charge of transporting an animal that was not fit for the journey.
Ryan McElduff (21) of Creggan Road, Cranagh, Carrickmore, pleaded guilty at Omagh Magistrates' Court today and received a conditional discharge for 18 months.
This case arose, when the Official Veterinarian (OV) at an abattoir examined a cow presented by Mr McElduff. The animal was bearing very little weight on its left hind leg and was showing signs of being in pain and distress. The leg was submitted to the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) for examination and a pathologist concluded that there was an unstable fracture of the femur.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.

Belfast City Council (BCC) has welcomed the conviction of a man at Belfast Magistrates Court for an offence involving a dog attack on a woman. BCC brought the prosecution against 43-year-old Stuart Grace, of Forthriver Crescent, Belfast, following a report that Mr Grace’s German Shepherd dog had attacked a woman, injuring her arm and back.
