Steve Saviano To Return To Belfast Giants

Belfast Giants have confirmed that Steve Saviano from the USA is to return for the new Elite League season.

He previously posted 18 goals and 30 assists in his season with the Giants.

Saviano picked up the Elite League Player of the Week accolade in February following his four-goal game against Fife and was also awarded the Coach's Player of the Year Award at the Giants Awards Night in March.

Head Coach Adam Keefe said: "Having Savy back in Belfast for a second season is great for our team. He works hard every time he steps on the ice, his puck management is top notch.

"He's great in the room, the guys love him & he will be counted on this season to be a big leader on and off the ice for the Giants. I know the fans will be very happy to hear he will be back again."
