Gunshots Fired At House In L'Derry

Gunshots have been fired at a house in L'Derry.

The incident occurred in the Racecourse Drive area of the city at 9.40pm on Monday, 31 July.

It is understood four children and a man were inside the house at the time, however they escaped injury.

Sinn Féin MLA Raymond McCartney slammed those behind the attack.

"This attack during which shots were fired at a house in Racecourse Drive is wrong and must be condemned," he said.

"Thankfully no one was injured in this incident but it must have been a frightening experience for those in the vicinity."

"There is no place for guns on our streets and those behind attacks need to end their war with the community."
