Carl Frampton v Andres Gutierrez Fight Cancelled

The fight against Belfast boxer Carl Frampton and Andres Gutierrez has been scrapped.

Frampton's promoters said it was cancelled as they were unable to arrange a new date.

The original fight, planned for 29 July in Belfast, was called off after Gutierrez was injured when he slipped in the shower.

In a statement Cyclone Promotions said: "Unfortunately a proposed date in November was unsuitable to all parties. It is therefore with regret that we are announcing the cancellation of this event.

"We are all profoundly disappointed for the fans, the boxers and those who have worked hard with and supported us on this event.

"We are confident Carl Frampton will become world champion again."
