Bag Of 'White Powder' Found Near Children's Play Area

A bag of suspected drugs has been found near a children's play area in Donacloney, Co Down.

The PSNI said a bag of white powder was discovered in the Riverdale Crescent area.

A police spokesperson said: "Have you lost a small bag of white powder in the Riverdale Crescent area of Donacloney? If you have, good news, we have it!! Come and see us!

"On a more serious note, this stuff was found near to where kids play, and this is absolutely NOT acceptable. If you have any information with regards to drugs, or drug taking in any area, including Donacloney, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us on 101, via Crime stoppers."

Woman Charged Over Limavady Murder
A woman has been charged with the murder of Ludmila Poletelova in L'Derry. Ms Poletelova, 61, was found dead at her house in Lodge Court, Limavady, on Friday, 23 April. The 45-year-old suspect was arrested last Sunday in the Limavady area. She is due to appear in court today, 29 April.

Injured Dogs, Cash And Suspected Drugs Seized During Searches
A quantity of suspected cannabis, drugs paraphernalia and over £10,000 in cash has been seized during searches on Tuesday, 13 April, by the Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF). A number of dogs were also seized following welfare concerns and serious injuries. The dogs are now receiving veterinary treatment.

Class B Drugs Worth Around £150,000 Discovered In South Belfast
Police have discovered class B drugs with a street value of around £150,000 in south Belfast. The drugs were uncovered during the search of a vehicle and a property on Tuesday evening, 27 April. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of committing drugs offences.

Suspected Drug Factory Uncovered In Newtownabbey
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the discovery of a suspected drug factory in Newtownabbey. The facility was uncovered after police had earlier arrested a 45-year-old man in the Castlereagh Street area of Belfast on suspicion of a number of drugs offences. Drugs Worth £75k Seized In Crumlin, Co Antrim
Police have seized suspected drugs worth an estimated £75,000 in Crumlin, Co Antrim. A haul of class B drugs, related paraphernalia, a sum of money and suspected cannabis plants were discovered during a search of a property on the Lurgan Road on Tuesday evening, 07 January.
