Teenager Seriously Injured In East Belfast Collision

A 19-year-old man has been seriously injured in a collision in east Belfast.

The crash happened at the junction of the Castlereagh Road and Upper Knockbreda road at around 9.45pm on Wednesday, 27 September.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, causing grievous bodily injury.

PSNI Sergeant Marion Curran said: "We are very keen to hear from anyone who saw this collision last night and could help with our investigation into what happened.

"A 19-year-old man is currently in hospital with life-threatening injuries and a man in his 60s has been released from hospital following treatment for minor injuries."

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Injured In East Belfast Collision
A man has been injured in a two-car collision in east Belfast. The crash happened on the Upper Newtownards Road just before 10.30am on Tuesday, 23 May. The man has been taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. The road has been re-opened.

Woman Killed Following Crash On A2
A woman has been killed in a car crash on the Bangor to Belfast Road on Friday, 10 November. The collision happened on the A2 at Ballygilbert after 3pm. A child was also critically injured and is being treated in hospital. Another man involved was treated in hospital, however he has been discharged. The road has since been re-opened.
