Police Appeal For Missing Man Lukasz Karpinski

Police have launched an appeal for information to help trace a missing man.

Lukasz Karpinski was last seen at Dunbar Link in Belfast at around 9am on Wednesday, 11 October.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Lukasz, who wears glasses, is described as being approximately 6'3" tall, very slim build with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

"He has a full beard and the left hand side of his head is shaved with shoulder length hair on the right side. He was last seen wearing a charcoal tweed jacket, navy coloured cable knit jumper, black trousers and brown shoes. He was also carrying a green rucksack."

The PSNI are becoming extremely concerned for his welfare and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

The PSNI have welcomed the minimum 20 year sentence handed to Dawid Lukasz Mietus for the murder of Patrycja Wyrebek. The 25-year-old, who appeared at Laganside today, Thursday 23 June, was sentenced to a minimum of 20 years' imprisonment, having pleaded guilty to murder.
