Waterways searched as hunt for missing woman continues

Police on both sides of the border have appealed for information after a woman went missing from her Co Tyrone home.

Attracta Harron, 65, was last seen at around 9.30am on Thursday when she went to Mass at Murlough Chapel in Lifford, in Co Donegal.

The woman is described as being 5ft 2ins, with shoulder length blonde hair. She was wearing a red duffle-style coat and grey trousers at the time of her disappearance.

The PSNI are being helped in their search by members of the Foyle and Strabane search and rescue team as well as the Garda underwater search team.

The rescue team is currently scouring the waterways in and around Counties Tyrone and Donegal for the missing woman.

Renewed Appeal For Help Tracing Missing Woman Paula Elliott
The PSNI have issued a fresh appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of high-risk missing person Paula Elliott, who has now not been seen for three weeks. Paula, 52, was last seen on Tuesday 5th March on CCTV cameras leaving the Sprucefield Court area of Lisburn at 5.30pm, before making her way to Warren Gardens at around 5.36pm.
