Girl, 12, Killed In Newry Beach Buggy Crash

A 12-year-old girl has died in a crash involving a beach buggy in Newry.

The girl was travelling on the buggy with another 14-year-old girl when they collided with a pick-up trick at around 2.50pm on the Flagstaff Road in Cloughogue on Saturday, 18 November.

The 12-year-old girl died from her injuries.

The other girl sustained a broken leg and is currently in hospital.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with another vehicle in Newry. The crash happened on the Tandragee Road on Saturday, 30 September. A woman, who was a pillion passenger, was also seriously injured and is being treated in hospital. The road was closed, however it has been reopened.

A man has died in a collision in Co Antrim. The crash happened on the Tornagrough Road in Hannahstown just before 8am on Wednesday, 27 September. Police are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and identify all of the vehicles involved. The PSNI are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Teenage Girl Critical Following Crash In Ballynahinch
A 16-year-old girl is in a critical condition in hospital following a collision in Ballynahinch on Sunday morning. The vehicle crashed on the Magheraknock Road at around 8am. The driver was also taken to hospital however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Co Fermanagh. A 42-year-old man died in the crash which happened on the Belfast Road in Brookeborough at around 8.35am on Friday, 08 June. The man was the driver of one of the vehicles involved. Police are appealing to anyone who may have dash can footage to contact them.

Cyclist Critical After Crash Near Antrim
A cyclist is in a critical but stable condition in hospital after being hit by a car on the Lisnevenagh Road between Antrim and Ballymena. The incident occurred at around 10.30am on Sunday, 10 June. He is being treated at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. The road was closed for some time however it has since been reopened.

Superbike Rider Dan Kneen Killed In TT Crash
Superbike rider Dan Kneen, aged 30, has died in a crash at the Isle of Man TT. He sustained fatal injuries during the event's Superbike qualifying session on Wednesday, 30 May. The accident happened at the Churchtown section on the first lap of the session. Mr Kneen had been riding for Tyco BMW, a Northern Ireland-based team.

Two People Killed In Offaly Plane Crash Named
Two people killed in a plane crash in Co Offaly have been named as pilot Niall Bowditch and seven year old Kacper Kacprzak. Mr Bowditch was believed to be in his 40s, and from Staffordshire, England. It is thought Kacper was the son of a Polish national living in Dublin. The plane took off from Clonbullogue Airfield on Sunday, 13 May.

North West 200 Rider Brought To Hospital Following Practice Crash
A North West 200 rider has been airlifted to hospital following a crash during an opening practice session today, 15 May. The unnamed motorcyclist was involved in an incident with another driver at the University Corner section of the course and sustained some injuries. Practice was delayed for around 45 minutes following the incident.

Woman Dies Following Crash Outside Ballymena
A woman, aged in her 60s, has died following a collision just outside Ballymena last week. Jean Wilkinson was the passenger in a Skoda Fabia that collided with a Honda Civic on the Lisnevenagh Road A26 dual carriageway on Tuesday, 10 October. The driver and another passenger were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
