Two People Charged Over £11k Drugs Seizure

Two people have been charged in connection with an £11,000 drugs seizure in Co L'Derry.

The class A and B drugs were discovered after police searched a number of properties in the Altcar Park and Fergleen Park areas on Wednesday, 29 November.

A 28-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman have been charged with a number of drug offences, including being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, possession of a class A controlled drug with intent to supply and attempting to prevent the course of justice.

The man also faces a charge of cultivating cannabis.

The pair are to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Friday, 01 December.
