Appeal Issued After Armed Robbery In Belfast

An investigation has launched following an armed robbery at a shop in Belfast city centre.

Two men, one armed with a knife, entered a shop on Castle Street at around 10.25am on Saturday, 02 December.

They demanded money from staff and made off with a sum of cash.

One of the suspects is described as being in his late teens or early 20's, approximately 6ft 2inches tall and of slim build. He was wearing track bottoms, grey and black coat, black monkey hat and black trainers. 

The second is described as being in his late teens or early 20's, approximately 5ft 8inches tall and of slim build. He was wearing track bottoms, grey and black coat, cap with a monkey hat over the top and dark blue trainers.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Appeal Following East Belfast Robbery
Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a robbery at commercial premises in east Belfast this morning, 2 April. Police received a report that a man armed with a gun entered the business on Orangefield Lane shortly after 7am and demanded cash from staff.
