Man Shot In Co L'Derry

A man has been shot in the ankle in Co L'Derry.

The paramilitary-style attack happened near the Creggan shops at around 7.45pm on Thursday, 07 December.

The 41-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police described the shooting as "brutal and horrific".

The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Man Shot Dead At Family Home In West Belfast
A man shot dead in West Belfast on Saturday 18 December has been named as 31-year-old Mark Hall. According to police, two gunmen approached Mr Hall's family home on Rodney Drive shortly after 4:30pm.

Police Appeal After Man Shot Dead In Bangor
Police are appealing for information following the murder of Colin Horner, who was shot in front of his three-year-old son at Sainbury's car park in Bangor on Sunday, 28 May. The boy was in the car at the time of the attack. It is understood Mr Horner, originally from Co Antrim, has loyalist links.
