Man Arrested Over Aggravated Burglary Released

A man arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary in west Belfast has been released.

Three men forced their way into a house in the Earlscourt Street area shortly before 9pm on Friday, 08 December.

The suspects had a gun and made demands before running off, according to the PSNI.

A 31-year-old man was arrested but was later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested In L'Derry
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in L'Derry. Officers from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation unit carried out a search at a property in connection with an ongoing on Wednesday, 04 November. A number of items were seized for further examination. The man was taken to be questioned, however he has now been released.

Police renew murder appeal
Police have renewed their appeal into the murder of a man in Co Down last month. Andrew Cully, a father of two teenage boys from Greyabbey, was shot up to 10 times as he sat in his parked car in the loyalist West Winds estate in Newtownards on 24 March. Detectives want to speak to anyone who saw Mr Cully sitting in his car prior to the shooting.

North Belfast Stabbing Believed To Be Racially-Motivated Attack
Police have issued an appeal for information following a stabbing incident in north Belfast, which is believed to have been racially-motivated. A man, aged in his 30s, was found collapsed inside a vehicle on the Antrim Road just before 1am on Saturday 15 January. He had suffered a number of stab wounds to his chest and abdomen.

Death Of Woman In Claudy 'Not Suspicious'
Police are no longer treating the death of a woman in Claudy, Co L'Derry, as suspicious following a post-mortem examination. The 36-year-old was found dead at a property on the Glenshane Road on Saturday. A 62-year-old man was arrested however he has now been released unconditionally.
