Pair Charged After Woman Hijacked In Banbridge

Two men have been charged in connection with a number of offences including a hijacking incident in Banbridge, Co Down.

A woman was dragged from her car in the Church Square area at around 5.40pm on Wednesday, 24 January.

The suspects, aged 25 and 33, have been accused of offences including aggravated vehicle-taking, hijacking and assault on police.

They are to appear before Armagh Magistrates' Court on Friday, 26 January.

A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of Bobbie McKee in Kilkeel. Mr McKee (69) died shortly after being found seriously injured at his home in the Newcastle Road area on Thursday 21 March. The man has also been charged with the attempted murder of Mr McKee's wife, who remains in a serious condition in hospital.
