Social Media Marketing Workshop Announced

As part of the inaugural Enterprise Week for the Causeway Coast and Glens – due to take place from 2 - 9 March 2018 – a workshop has been announced to help local businesses with digital marketing, social media, video marketing and online selling

The workshop is for businesses within this council area wishing to improve their digital marketing skills.

The workshop will take place on Tuesday 6th March, 2018 at Ulster University, Coleraine and costs £15 per person.

The agenda for the event includes:

• Driving business growth through digital marketing

• What's hot in social media 2018

• Video marketing quick start

• Selling on Instagram

• Closing Session - DIY design like a pro for social media, lunch, key takeaways, top tips and free tools

Organised in partnership with the Causeway Chamber, there are events to suit all ages and stages of the entrepreneurial journey, all with the aim of helping you to succeed in business.

From June this year UK businesses will get the same right as individuals to block 'cold calling' by marketing firms under a new measure announced today. The move comes in response to concerns expressed by small businesses that they do not have the resources to cope with high volumes of cold calls.

New Support Package For Businesses Affected By Flooding
A new support package for businesses affected by flooding has been announced by Economy Minister Conor Murphy. The Enhanced Flood Support Scheme will provide further support to businesses that were directly flooded following the severe weather in late October and early November.
