£20m Challenge Fund Workshops Announced

The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) have announced a series of workshop in March to inform UK businesses about the proposed £20 million challenge fund for Next Generation Services.

The challenge will focus on accountancy, insurance and legal services.

A workshop will take place in Belfast on 21 March 2018, with the remaining events to be held in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff.

Delegates attending these events will get an opportunity to learn more about the proposed Next Generation Services programme, which was included in the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund White Paper in November 2017.

They will also get a chance to meet other businesses and researchers, and build new collaborations. Feedback gathered will inform and influence grant-funding opportunities.

Places for the Next Generation Services workshops are limited. The organisers are particularly keen attract academics who can either nominate, recommend or offer a business or industry partner. If you wish to attend, register your interest online.

The programme of workshops is organised by KTN on behalf of Innovate UK and the Research Councils. You can watch the video below to learn more about the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.
