Two Men Charged With Murder Of Karol Kelly

Two men have been charged with the murder of Karol Kelly in Co L'Derry.

Mr Kelly, aged 35, was stabbed to death during a fight between a group of men in the Grafton Street area at around 2.40am on Sunday, 04 March.

Two men, aged 19 and 20, have been charged with murder.

They are to appear before Londonderrry Magistrates Court today, 07 March.

Four Charged In Connection With Blake Newland Murder
Four people are due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates' Court charged in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Blake Newland. The Limavady teenager died after being found with serious stab wounds at a house in the town on Friday, 02 February. Police investigating the murder of a man in Co L'Derry have been granted an additional 36 hours to question two men. Karol Kelly, aged 35, was stabbed to death during a fight between a group of men in Grafton Street in the Rosemount area at around 2.40am on Sunday, 04 March. Two men, aged 19 and 20, have been detained in police custody.

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In Cookstown
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary at the Queens Avenue area of Cookstown on Friday 3rd February. Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a property in the area with one of the men armed with an iron bar and another man armed with a suspected firearm.

Two Men Jailed For 'Horrific And Callous' Murder Of Roy Reynolds
Two men have been jailed at Belfast Crown Court in connection with the "horrific and callous" murder of Roy Reynolds in County Antrim in 2022. Michael Campbell, 34, was handed a life sentence last December after pleading guilty to Mr Reynold's murder.

DCI Caldwell Investigation: Two Men Released
Two men, aged 47 and 71, arrested in connection with the investigation into the attempted murder of Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell on 22nd February in the Killyclogher Road area of Omagh, has been released following questioning. Two other men, aged 33 and 57, remain in police custody at this time.
