OBE Medal Stolen During Burglaries In Randalstown

An OBE medal has been stolen after three houses were burgled in Randalstown, Co Antrim.

The burglaries happened in the Church Road and Kemmilhill Gardens area between 3pm on Friday, 09 March, and 4.45pm on Saturday, 10 March.

Entry was forced via a rear window and a rear door.

Cash, jewellery and cigarettes were also stolen.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Amongst these was an OBE medal which is of great sentimental value to one of the victims, so I am asking for the public's assistance with the investigation."

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
