Two Men Released After Body Found In North Belfast

Two men arrested after the discovery of a man's body in north Belfast have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The body of a man was discovered in the Orient Gardens area just before 10pm on Wednesday, 18 April.

The suspects were arrested on suspicion of murder.

The body of a man has been found in north Belfast. Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the man, whose body was discovered at a house just off the Oldpark Road in the north of city just before 11am this morning. The identity of the man has not yet been revealed.

A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Renowned former sports editor of the Belfast Telegraph, Malcolm Brodie, has died. Mr Brodie began his career at the Portadown News, before moving to the Belfast Telegraph in 1943, where he worked for more than five decades. A teenager has been injured after being abducted and attacked in Newtownabbey. The 14-year-old boy sustained bruising to his face and body during the assault which happened on the O'Neill Road on Saturday, 04 August, at around 9pm. Police have begun a murder inquiry following the discovery of the body of a 45-year-old woman at a house in north Belfast on Monday morning.
