Belfast-Based Software Firm To Create Six New Jobs

A Belfast-based software firm has revealed plans to expand its customer base across Europe and the US.

Established in 2012, Repstor has focused on developing products for the global enterprise content management (ECM) market, with its software creating greater efficiencies for its customers by making electronic filing and searches seamless.

Thanks to an Invest NI award of £80,850, the company will create six new roles and marketing support to help the company boost its export sales.

Welcoming the investment, Brian Dolaghan, Invest Northern Ireland's Director of Technology & Services said: "Repstor enjoyed a tremendously successful 2017 and with our support will be well positioned to enjoy the same in 2018. These new roles boast average salaries of £40,000 and will generate nearly a quarter of a million in additional annual salaries for the Northern Ireland economy.

"Invest NI has provided a range of support to Repstor since it was set up. In addition to our support to create jobs we have provided research and development support, and assistance with marketing and brand development. The company also utilised our trade support to attend the US educational conference, ILTACON last year. This new investment will support Repstor's ambitious growth strategy and help it to build a global reputation in particular in the dynamic legal and professional services market."

Alan McMillen from Repstor said: "We are performing well in the legal tech market with our partnership with Global Top 40 law firm, Eversheds Sutherland well underway. Over the last year, we are delighted that our technology has enjoyed significant business wins in more than 15 different countries including the US, South Africa, and the UAE, as well as across Mainland Europe and the UK and Ireland.

"With the help of Invest NI we are entering the next phase in the growth of our business and expanding our team to ensure we can capitalise on the growing demand for our products. We look forward to welcoming our new staff who will be instrumental in helping us to expand our customer base throughout Europe the US and beyond."
