Hundreds Of New Homes To Be Developed In Co Down

Approximately 50 construction jobs are to be created as part of a £50million project to develop 900 new homes in Comber, Co Down.

Northern Ireland homebuilders Hagan Homes has started construction work on the first phase of the 'Enler Village' site on the Newtownards Road, which includes the development of 17 new homes.

Work on the first phase is expected to be completed in December this year.

The overall project will see a total of 900 three and four-bedroom homes being built as well as a business park, nursing home, sheltered accommodation, creche and retail units.

Additional features include linked pedestrian facilities with Comber Town Centre, a decorative focal monument on Coarse Hill and extended saltmarsh.

Jamesy Hagan, Managing Director of Ballyclare-based Hagan Homes, commented: "We are absolutely delighted to announce the exciting plans for our largest ever development. Enler Village offers residents the opportunity to live in the desirable country village atmosphere of Comber and avail of the abundance of amenities, facilities and activities available there.

"Enler Village is a thoughtfully laid out development ensuring privacy within a setting full of charm and character. These beautifully designed three and four bedroom homes all benefit from our high quality and stylish turnkey package, including an elegant, fully fitted kitchen and modern bathroom suite, meaning you have little to do once you move in."

Hagan Homes' main contractor for the Enler Village development is Rowallane Construction.
