Yellow Weather Warning For Strong Winds Issued In NI
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds throughout NI on Thursday, 14 June.
The warning has been put in place from 3am until 3pm.
Gusts of up to 50 to 60mph are expected in some places and there is a slight chance rail, air and ferry services will be affected,
Power cuts may occur and mobile phone coverage may also be affected.

A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued by the Met Office for parts of Northern Ireland on Wednesday, 31 January. The weather warning comes into effect at 9.00 am and is due to remain in place until 5.00 pm with warnings that it could impact travel, cause power outages and lead to large waves in coastal areas.

A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued across Northern Ireland. The Met Office put the warning in place between midnight and noon on Saturday, 05 August, The heaviest rain is expected in Belfast and the South East, It said the wet and windy conditions could cause flooding in homes and businesses as well as travel disruption.
