Man Injured In Serious Co Down Collision

A man is being treated in hospital following a serious collision in Co Down.

Emergency services were called to the scene, thought to have involved two vehicles, just before 9pm on the Comber Road near Ballygowan on Wednesday.

Two Northern Ireland Ambulance Service crews attended the scene and one person was taken by ambulance to Ulster Hospital.

The road was closed on Wednesday night and remains closed this morning, according to the PSNI.
