Two People Arrested Over Social Media Posts In Randalstown

Two people have been arrested in connection with social media posts in Randalstown, Co Antrim.

The posts are believed to have been made as a band parade was taking place in the town.

A 35-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman have been detained in police custody on suspicion of a number of offences.

A number of suspicious items were also found during a house search in the Station Road area.

The road has been cordoned off to allow the items to be examined.

Man Arrested Over Threats To Kill
A man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including making threats to kill, after an incident in Dunmurry over the weekend. The 38-year-old was detained after and aggravated burglary in Juniper Park at around 6.15pm on Saturday 02 February.
