Event To Highlight Benefits Of QUB Marketing Interns

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) have announced an event to present guidance and case studies for employers on how to avail of a Queen's University Belfast (QUB) marketing intern.

QUB's MSc in Marketing is part of the CIM Gateway Programme.

Local Employers can offer students on this postgraduate degree a placement from May-September 2019.

The interns will complete a piece of marketing research for their degree and the employer, and be paid for this at the living wage rate.

For a small business with less than 250, charities & Social Enterprises grants may be available. This briefing will provide examples of how this programme has helped both the business and interns.

The event will take place on 18 September, 2018, at Riddle Hall, QUB, Belfast, and is free to attend.

US Insurance Firm Brings 150 Jobs To Belfast
An insurance firm based in the United States is set to establish operations in Northern Ireland and bring 150 jobs to the region. The multi-million pound investment will see Aflac Incorporated, headquartered in Georgia, set up a Global IT and Cybersecurity Innovation Centre in Belfast.

£40m Investment Upgrades Belfast Container Terminal

Bavarian Belfast Named BMW Retailer Of The Year
Agnew Group's Bavarian BMW dealership in Belfast has claimed the prestigious accolade of Retailer of the Year at the German car manufacturer's awards. Held in Lisbon, the retailer awards saw 11 of the UK's best franchises recognised, but Bavarian BMW in Belfast secured the top spot on the night.
