Number Of Cars Damaged Overnight In L'Derry

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after a number of cars were damaged in the Ballymagroarty area of Londonderry overnight.

It was reported that sometime during the early hours of the morning on Monday 13 August, the rear windows of nine cars parked in the Swift Court, Dunluce Court, Sheelin Park and Rafferty Close areas were smashed.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incidents or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact officers in Strand Road on 101 quoting reference 157 14/08/18.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

Appeal For Information On Kilkeel Arson Attacks
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the report of two arson incidents in the Kilkeel area. It was reported to police that at around 2.25am on Monday 06 May, that a Volkswagen Passat parked in the Munro Villas area had the windows smashed and an accelerant poured inside. The vehicle was set alight and extensively damaged.

Man Injured After Shots Fired At House In Rathfriland
An investigation has been launched after shots were fired at a house in Rathfriland in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, 05 March. Police received a report that two shots had been fired through the front window of a house in the Wright's Park area at around 12.35am, causing minor injuries to a man who was in the living room at the time.

Two Men Arrested In £500,000 Drug Seiure In South Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a £500,000 drug seizure following searches in South Belfast. On Friday, 01 March, detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch stopped and searched two vehicles in the Lisburn Road area. Class B controlled drugs were recovered from both vehicles which were also subsequently seized.

Appeal Following Spate Of Burglaries Across Coleraine
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a recent spate of burglaries in Coleraine. On the morning of Sunday, 25 February, police received a report of a break-in at a house in the Magheraboy Road area of Portrush. It is believed that the burglary occurred sometime overnight on Saturday evening, 24th February.
