Blackhead Path Will Not Reopen Until 2019
Blackhead Path in Co Antrim will not reopen until December 2019 due to recent subsidence concerns.
An engineer's report found the path was at risk of collapsing. It moved 30cms in the last year and 17cms in the last month. Large cracks were also identified along the path.
It was first closed earlier this month.
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council held a public meeting on Thursday, 23 August, and discussed how to fully restore the path.

Rates Suspension And Refunds For Victoria Square Apartment Owners
The owners of the disputed Victoria Square Apartments will no longer be charged rates, with refunds to be issued for rates paid since April 2019. The valuation of properties within the Victoria Square apartment block has been subject to review by Land & Property Services (LPS) as part of an ongoing valuation appeals process.

Refurb Work Complete On The Gobbins Cliff Path
Refurbishment work on The Gobbins Cliff Path in Islandmagee is now complete. Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister, Jonathan Bell, visited the preview event today, 18 August, and said the restoration of the historic coastal path and the development of the new visitor centre will help put the coastline back on the tourist map.
