Venture For Success Programme Launched

A new programme for young, Belfast based high-growth companies, has been announced by Belfast City Council.

The Venture for Success programme provides up to six days of one-to-one mentoring support conducted by a business growth advisor to help you grow your business.

It will also give participants access to tailored workshops, key networks and signposting to further funded support.

The one-to-one mentoring will assist businesses by:

• helping them to address the right markets with the right messages

• helping them to sell more

• sourcing the right people for their team - even if they can’t afford to employ people

• address operational issues

• source or manage the money they need as a growing business

The programme gives clear, practical advice in an accessible way that will focus on your business growing. Assistance is available in many areas such as:

• market research

• marketing

• selling

• employing people

• intellectual property

• managing innovation

• operations

• sourcing funding

• digital strategies

START A BUSINESS PROGRAMME CHALKS UP 5,000TH NEW BUSINESS
Two Mallusk entrepreneurs have set up the 5000th new business to be started through the Start a Business programme, which has generated an estimated 8,250 new jobs across Northern Ireland. Oliver McErlane took part on the programme with business partner Tim Swann, before setting up their electronic marketing company, TxtFlow.
