Amber Weather Warning Issued Across NI
The Met Office has issued an Amber weather warning for Wednesday, 19 September.
Storm Ali is expected to bring a very windy spell of weather with gusts of 65-75 mph inland and periods of heavy rain.
According to the forecaster:
• Flying debris is likely and could lead to injuries or danger to life
• Probably some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs or damage through falling trees and branches breaking
• Longer journey times and cancellations likely, as road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected
• Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage
• Some roads and bridges likely to close
• Large waves could affect coastal roads, sea fronts and properties.
The current Amber weather warning is currently in place from 8am until 5pm on Wednesday, 19 September.

Yellow Weather Warning Issued For Parts Of NI
A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued by the Met Office for parts of Northern Ireland on Wednesday, 31 January. The weather warning comes into effect at 9.00 am and is due to remain in place until 5.00 pm with warnings that it could impact travel, cause power outages and lead to large waves in coastal areas.

Further Weather Warning Issued
A new weather warning has been issued for Northern Ireland. On Tuesday, the Met Office issued a fresh warning for snow in the region. It said rain and sleet can be expected with snow on higher ground. The 'yellow' alert will be in place from 5pm today (20 January).

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice across some parts of Northern Ireland overnight. A warning has been put in place for counties Antrim, L'Derry and Tyrone. It has been issued from 9pm on Tuesday until 10am on Wednesday.

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for Northern Ireland as Storm Isha is set to hit this weekend. On Sunday, 21 January, a wind alert will come into force at 6pm and will remain in place until 9am on Monday, 22 January. A separate yellow weather warning has been put in place between noon on Sunday and noon on Monday.
