Aspiring Entrepreneurs Invited To Pitch To Business 'Dragons'

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council (LCCC) is inviting aspiring entrepreneurs in the area to pitch their business ideas to a panel of "dragons".

Inspire Business Angel Investment is putting up an investment fund of £10K, plus a package of training, marketing and development advice for the most promising start-up ideas to pitch for a share of this amount.

To apply for the scheme, applicants should live in the LCCC area and have a great idea for an inspiring new product, service or innovation with the potential to become a great business.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have a Business Plan and two-year Financial Projection – however, if you don't already have these documents, Inspire Business Centre can help you to compile them.

The top business ideas will be invited to a networking event at Inspire's offices on Thursday 25 October 2018, with the most promising then asked to pitch for investment in a Dragon's Den-type final at Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn, on Monday 12 November 2018.

More information on the Inspire Business Angel Investment fund is available here.
