Man Dies In Cookstown House Fire
A man aged in his 20's has died following a fire at a house in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.
The blaze broke out in the early hours of Friday, 05 October.
Police said the cause is being investigated but is not believed to be suspicious.
Inspector Gavin Sterling said: "Police can confirm that a man, aged in his 20's, has died following a fire at a house on Queens Avenue in Cookstown during the early hours of this morning.
"Police received a report of a fire at a house at around 2.30am.
"An investigation into the cause of the fire, which is not believed to be suspicious, has now commenced."

A man aged in his 50s has died in a house fire in Magherafelt, Co L'Derry An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire at a house on Highfield Road, however police said that they don't believe the fire was suspicious. The man's identity has not yet been released.

THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

Fatal House Fire In Newtownards
A woman in her 30s has died in a fire at a house in Newtownards, Co. Down. The fire occurred at a house in Ilex Avenue at around 5.30pm and the woman is reported to have died at the scene. An investigation into the circumstances of the death is being conducted by police who have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
