Seven Arrested In West Belfast Drugs Raid

Seven people have been arrested following a drug raid in west Belfast on Thursday evening, 11 October.

Three men and three women, aged in their 40's, and a 17-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of a number of drug offences.

The PSNI's Organised Crime Branch seized a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs along with a sum of cash during the incident.

Child Knocked Down In West Belfast
The Ambulance Service attended a casualty believed to be a child, following a road accident in west Belfast on Monday 04 December. The injured party, believed to be a secondary school pupil, happened on Bingnian Drive in Andersonstown.

Three men arrested in separate drugs finds
Three men have been arrested following separate drugs finds in Belfast and Co. Londonderry on Monday. A 38-year-old man was arrested following the discovery of drugs, worth an estimated £50,000, in east Belfast. He was subsequently charged with being in possession cannabis with intent to supply following the drugs seizure at Garnerville.

A 29-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman have been arrested, following what was described as a planned police operation in County Antrim. The searches were carried out at an address in the Carnreagh area of Craigavon earlier today. During the operation, officers seized ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value of £10,000.

Police seize weapons and drugs in loyalist stronghold
Police has seized a substantial amount of weapons, ammunition and drugs during a raid in north Belfast yesterday. Three people were arrested during the raid in the loyalist Westland area of the city in which an AK47 rifle, handguns and component parts for other weapons were found.

Man arrested over Belfast cannabis find
Following a planned search operation in south Belfast yesterday, officers seized around 14 cannabis plants and a quantity of paraphernalia associated with drugs. Three paramedics have been injured by a male patient while responding to a 999 call in the Newtownards area, resulting in the emergency cover for the North Down area being reduced. The patient assaulted a paramedic who was administering treatment in the back of an ambulance on Saturday evening, 08 December, causing back and shoulder injuries.
