Snow Patrol Join Appeal For Missing Dad

NI band Snow Patrol have joined the public appeal to help find missing man Robert Holmes.

The 42-year-old father of three has been missing since he was last seen on Wednesday 17 October in Newtownabbey, County Antrim.

Robert is a singer-songwriter and police and rescue workers have been working alongside his family to find him.

In an online appeal, Snow Patrol said: "Our friend Robert Holmes has been missing since Wednesday.

"Last seen in the Mossley area of Belfast. If anyone has any info please call 101 or 999."

Their post has been shared hundreds of times and echoed by other musicians who knew Robert.

Robert is described as being 6ft tall, of slim wild with blue eyes, dirty fair hair and facial stubble.

He was believed to have been wearing a dark, waterproof coat, a grey/black hooded top and a green beanie style hat.

Renewed Appeal For Help Tracing Paula Elliott
The PSNI have issued a fresh appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Paula Elliott, who was last seen on Tuesday, 05 March. The 52-year-old was last seen on CCTV cameras leaving the Sprucefield Court area of Lisburn at 5.30pm, before making her way to Warren Gardens at around 5.36pm.

PSNI Appeal Following Fatal Collision In L'Derry
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal road traffic in L'Derry on Thursday, 18 April. A woman, aged in her 70s, has died in hospital following a two-car collision on the Limavady Road at approximately 4pm. The collision involved a grey Citroen C3 and blue Alfa Romeo.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In South Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an arson attack at a property in south Belfast. At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. Police attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a serious road traffic collision in the Strand Road area of L'Derry the early hours of Sunday, February 11. Around 1.40am, police received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a black Volkswagen Golf.
