Man Killed In L'Derry Road Crash

A 22-year old man has died and another male is in critical condition in hospital following a one-vehicle road crash near Bellaghy in County L'Derry.

The car left the Newferry Road at around 5pm on Thursday 25 October.

Police said Reece Kelly from the Draperstown area was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four men were travelling in the BMW at the time.

The two other males were also taken to hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, has dash-cam footage or who saw the black BMW car being driven in the area is being asked to contact the PSNI's Collision Investigation Unit on 101.

Third Man Charged Over Eddie Meenan Murder
A teenager has been charged with the murder of Edward Meenan in L'Derry. 19-year-old Ryan Walters is the third person to be accused of the father-of-four's murder, whose body was found in an alleyway in the Creggan Street area of the city on Sunday 25 November. He suffered significant injuries to his head and body.

Man Pulled From Water In River Lagan Rescue Operation
Police officers have been praised for rescuing a man from the River Lagan on Sunday 02 December. Emergency services quickly responded when it was reported a man had fallen into the water close to the Obel Tower. He was pulled to safety and treated at the scene in an operation involving police, ambulance staff and river rescue personnel.

Man Charged Over Fatal County Monaghan Crash
A 34-year-old man from County Armagh has been charged with dangerous driving following the death of a married father in County Monaghan. James Tommany, of Clay Road, Keady, faces four charges. He was arrested following an incident on Main Street, Castleblayney, on Tuesday 27 November.

Man Hospitalised After Masked Gang Attack During Burglary
A man has been taken to hospital after he was beaten by a masked gang wielding baseball bats during an aggravated burglary in Belfast. The attack took place in the Woodvale Avenue area of Belfast on Wednesday November 28 between 9pm and 9.30pm. Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested after two pedestrians were knocked down by a car that mounted the pavement in north Belfast. The car also crashed into another parked vehicle in the incident that occurred in the Brookvale Avenue area shortly after 7pm on Monday 03 December.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Man Dies In L'Derry Collision
A man has died following a car collision in Magherafelt, L'Derry. The man, in his 20s, was driving on the Tobermore Road at around 6.45pm on Thursday. No other vehicle was involved in the collision. The Tobermore Road has since been reopened.
