Travel training company launched

A new travel training company based in Northern Ireland has been set up in response to an increasing demand for high quality, flexible home-study training courses for the travel industry.

Over 100 guests attended the official GTT Launch which took place last week in the Wellington Park Hotel, Belfast. The event was hosted by UTV’s Julian Simmons. The courses are tailored specifically to industry needs but do not require any prior knowledge and are suitable for anyone, any age that has a desire to work in the travel industry. Upon successful completion learners will be able to secure a travel position anywhere in the world in any the following career paths:
  • air /sea cabin crew

Kieran Swail is Managing Director of the company and has a wealth of experience in training and working in the travel industry.

He said: “Our aim is to provide practical training to meet the needs of an evolving travel industry. We have developed close links with employers and travel recruitment specialists. Upon successful completion of our courses we will endeavour to assist students to find a suitable post in the industry. We aim to build up a Network for past and present GTT participants.”

In addition to course details, the website has a number of interesting features such as Resource Directory, Affiliates, Latest News, Spotlight, Top Jobs, Newsletter, Events and GTT Network. The website also has a free entry competition to win a short break to Amsterdam.
