Man Arrested Following West Belfast Drugs Find

A 35-year-old man has been arrested after a quantity of drugs were seized from a house in west Belfast.

The Terrorism Investigation Unit searched a property in the Lagmore Avenue area on Thursday evening, 29 November.

The search was in connection with a police investigation into 'violent dissident republicans'.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We will continue to target all those involved in terrorist activity as their illegal actions only serve to blight the communities they operate in."

The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B controlled drug and remains in custody.

A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing incident in west Belfast on Saturday, 04 September. A 20-year-old male has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the head in the Aspen Walk area near Dunmurry.
