Innovate UK Announce Creative Industry Mission To India

Innovate UK has announced a Global Business Innovation Programme for the creative and media sectors to showcase the best of UK creativity in India.

The fully funded programme consists of a preparation phase in the UK, a 5-day visit to India in April 2019 and subsequent follow-up support.

The programme aims to help creative businesses develop relationships with partners in the region, allowing them to gain a foothold in a market set for explosive growth.

The initiative is suited in particular to the gaming, e-commerce, digital marketing, film/TV content distribution and immersive technologies (especially augmented reality) sectors.

UK-registered, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the creative media sector can apply. Applications will be considered in two phases:

• phase 1: online applications to assess eligibility and suitability

• phase 2: the panel will review shortlisted companies and select the final delegation

Any interested company must register their interest by Thursday 7 February 2019.

More information about the trip and how to apply is available here.
