Woman Sexually Assaulted In South Belfast
Police are investigating after a report that a woman was sexually assaulted in south Belfast last weekend.
The incident is believed to have taken place near Lower Crescent on the University Road between 2am and 2.40am on Sunday 24 March.
According to detectives from the PSNI's Public Protection Branch, the woman, with dark hair and wearing a red jacket, was assaulted in an alleyway by an unknown male.
Police enquiries are ongoing and anyone who was in the area and noticed a woman matching the description, or any suspicious activity, is urged to contact detectives at Strandtown on non-emergency line 101.

A free home safety and crime prevention advice event is to be held at Belfast City Hall on Friday, 01 March. The Belfast Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) has organised the event, which is free and will take place from 10am-1pm in Belfast City Hall. New plans to support the most vulnerable in Belfast while growing the economy, regenerating neighbourhoods and achieving climate targets have been published in a refreshed strategic plan for the city. First published in 2017, the Belfast Agenda set out joint vision for the city up to 2035.

Police have appealed for information after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Omagh. The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may be able to assist the investigation.
