A cohort of more than 80 employers have advertised over 1,000 job vacancies at a jobs and careers fair in Antrim.

The event at Antrim Forum on Thursday 28 March gave firms the chance to showcase vacant positions to job seekers as well as advising those hoping to progress in their career.

A number of Google Digital Garage Workshops were also available throughout the day, free of charge, to help improve job skills. An inclusive hour was also available in the morning, aimed specifically at those with sensory or learning difficulties.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Paul Michael commented: "I am delighted the Council is working in partnership with the Department for Communities (DfC) and Network Personnel on what has been a truly successful event.
