Man Dies In Strangford Crash

A man in his 60s has died following a crash in Strangford, County Down.

The three vehicle collision involved two cars and a motorcycle and happened on the Castleward Road shortly after 11.30am yesterday morning, Sunday 07 April.

The route was closed in both directions for some time but has since reopened.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage to contact non-emergency line 101 quoting reference 608 of the 7/4/19.

Man Dies In Co Fermanagh Road Crash
A man aged in his 70s has died in a car crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened at Gardiners Cross Road near Tempo on Sunday, 19 June. Diversions were put in place at the time of the crash, however the road has been re-opened. A post-mortem is to be carried out to determine the cause of death.

The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.
