Woman dies in car crash in Ballyclare

A Canadian woman has died following a road traffic accident in Co Antrim early this morning.

Two cars were involved in the collision which occurred on the Green Road in Ballyclare at around 12.30am. The victim was named as Maureen Lake from Toronto.

Four other people suffered minor injuries in the collision and were taken to Antrim Area Hospital for treatment.

Elsewhere, three people have been injured following a road crash in Co Down on Monday night.

Three people were injured in the crash which occurred on the main road towards Kilkeel at Rockpool, Newcastle.

One of those injured is said to be in a serious condition in hospital.

Man Killed In Fermanagh Road Crash
A man has been killed in a road crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened on the Derrygonelly Road in Enniskillen at around 2pm on Saturday, 15 October. Two other people were also injured in the two-vehicle crash. Elsewhere, a man has been seriously injured in a road collision in Ballywalter, Co Down.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
