Man Dies And Two Women Seriously Injured In Crash

A man has died and two women have been left seriously injured following a road collision last night.

The single-vehicle crash happened shortly before midnight, Tuesday 23 April, on the Glenshane Road in County L'Derry.

Police have since confirmed that the 46-year-old man died following the incident. Two females who were also in the grey Vauxhall vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

The road was closed for several hours between the Garvagh Road in Dungiven and Tobermore Road in Maghera while officers investigated the circumstances of the collision. It has since reopened to traffic.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the Glenshane Road last night and witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage of the incident to contact officers in Limavady or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference 1654 23/04/19.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
