Pair Assaulted By Masked Gang In Larne
A man and woman have been attacked by a masked gang during an aggravated burglary in Larne this morning.
Detectives said men entered a house in Wellington Green at around 5am on Wednesday 24 April, wielding pick axe handles and a sledgehammer.
A man in his 30s was injured while a woman, also aged in her 30s, was assaulted but not injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information after the incident. Details can be passed by calling the non-emergency line 101 quoting reference 157 24/04/19.

63-Year-Old Woman Arrested Over Stabbing In Antrim
A 63-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Antrim on Friday, 26 January. Shortly after 5.10am police received a report that a man, aged in his 40s, had been stabbed at a property in the Firmount Drive area of the town. He was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment to stab wounds to his upper body area.

Two killed and one injured in Larne car smash
A man and a woman have died, and a third person was critically injured, in a head-on collision near Larne yesterday. The collision occurred on the A8 Larne to Belfast carriageway between Ballynure and Millbrook shortly before 6.15am. The woman has been named as Jacqueline Marie Morrow, 32, from Belfast Road, Larne.

Stabbing At Belfast College
Two people have been stabbed in an incident at the Millfield campus of Belfast Metropolitan College. One of the injured men is described as being in a critical condition, according to reports. The second injured man is understood to have been detained by police at the scene of the incident and is being treated as a suspect.

Woman Killed Following Crash On A2
A woman has been killed in a car crash on the Bangor to Belfast Road on Friday, 10 November. The collision happened on the A2 at Ballygilbert after 3pm. A child was also critically injured and is being treated in hospital. Another man involved was treated in hospital, however he has been discharged. The road has since been re-opened.

Man Injured In Lurgan Shooting
A man has been injured in a shooting in Lurgan, Co Armagh. Two shots were fired at a house in the Ashleigh Crescent area just before 11pm on Sunday, 07 May. The man sustained a cut to his neck. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
