Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Lorry
A pedestrian has died after being stuck by a lorry in Cookstown, County Tyrone.
The incident happened on the Drum Road, near the junction with the Pomeroy Road, at around 1.50pm on Tuesday 07 May.
Police later confirmed that a man died of his injuries.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have been travelling on the route and witnessed the collision, or noticed a male walking at the time to contact them in Cookstown or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
The Drum Road was closed for some time following the incident but has since reopened.

The victim of a fatal road crash in Crumlin, Co Antrim, has been named as Emmanuel Caddell, police have confirmed. Mr Caddell, 22, died following the two-vehicle collision involving a car and a lorry on Monday, 10 April. The incident happened on the Manse Road at around 10.50am. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
