Pair Threatened At Knife Point In Belfast Aggravated Burglary

Police have launched an investigation after an aggravated burglary at a house in Belfast.

The incident occurred in Cadogan Street, in the Stranmillis area of the city at around 10.15pm on Tuesday 14 May.

The man entered the house and threatened two females who were inside while armed with a knife. He also threatened another woman and man who entered the premises, before making off with money and jewellery.

Officers have appealed for anyone with information relating to the burglary to contact them on non-emergency line 101.

Gang Punch And Threaten Man At Knifepoint In North Belfast
A gang have threatened a man at knifepoint and punched him during an aggravated burglary in north Belfast. The incident happened at a flat at Ross House in the Mount Vernon area at around 7.45pm on Sunday. The man's sister was also forced into a bedroom, however she was not injured. The 23-year-old man was punched in the face.

Police are probing a link between two deliberate ignitions in the Killough Walk and Vianstown Heights area of the town, less than a mile from each other, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Police Officers Injured In Chase
Four police officers have been injured following a police chase in County L'Derry. A Nissan Juke car was stolen in the Racecourse area on Thursday night and made off towards the Glenshane Pass. Police chased the car after they discovered it on the Fallaghloon Road in Maghera, and it resulted in both vehicles crashing into one another.

Two charged over pensioner robbery
A 22-year-old man and a 30-year-old man are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court later today, charged in connection with the aggravated burglary of a pensioner on Monday evening. The men face charges including false imprisonment, aggravated burglary and GBH.
