Delays Expected Following Motorway Crash

Motorists are advised to expect delays on a busy Northern Ireland motorway this afternoon, 18 June, following a collision.

Police said multiple vehicles were involved in the crash on the M2 city bound approaching Nelson Street and the M3.

Emergency services have been called to the area and long delays are expected, with queues stretching back to Fortwilliam.

Drivers should seek an alternative route if possible.

M1 Reopens Following Lorry Collision
The M1 motorway at Moira has reopened following a crash between two lorries on Friday morning. The motorway was closed during a clean-up operation to remove debris from the motorway. Police have warned delays are still expected on the A3 Belfast Road from Lurgan, the A3 Moira Road from Lisburn and the A26 Glenavy Road towards Moira.

Co Down Road Closed Following Road Traffic Collision
Part of the Old Ballynahinch Road in County Down has been closed following a road traffic collision earlier this morning, Monday 14 August. It is understood the road is closed in both directions between the junction of Saintfield Road and Drennan Road. Motorists are advised to find an alternative route and ongoing delays are expected in the area.

Chaos On Belfast Motorway Following Two Collisions
Motorists are suffering long delays on their commute into Belfast this morning following two separate collisions on the M2. The first incident, which occurred at around 8am on Wednesday 09 January, has been cleared onto the hard shoulder. A PSNI spokesperson confirmed that there were no reports of any injuries in the two vehicle collision.
