Pair Assaulted By Gang Of Males
Two men have been assaulted by a gang of males in what police are describing as a paramilitary style attack.
The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 27 June, in the Derrycoole Way area of Newtownabbey.
The victims, aged 32 and 37, suffered minor injuries when targeted by a group of up to eight men.
Chief Inspector David Moore said: "It was reported to police at approximately 1.35am on Thursday that these two men had been assaulted by a number of men and we are treating this as a paramilitary style attack at this stage.
"I would appeal to the community to help us try and apprehend those who were involved in this attack. If you saw anything suspicious or know anything about this incident which could assist us with our investigation I would ask that you contact detectives in Antrim on 101 quoting reference number 122 of 27/06/19."

Appeal Following Petrol Bomb Attack In Banbridge
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a petrol bomb attack in Banbridge, in the early hours of Tuesday 19th March. It was reported that at around 2.10am on Tuesday morning, two petrol bombs were thrown at the back wall of a house in the Castlewellan Road area, causing scorch damage to the wall and a window frame.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

A 23-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot in the leg in a paramilitary-style attack in Co Down. The incident happened at around 1.30pm on Saturday on the Abbotts Road in Newtownards. Police said the victim had tried to run away when he saw four men pull up alongside him in a red Ford Escort car.
