Appeal As Woman Dies In Armagh Crash

A woman has died after she was involved in a crash in Armagh.

Two cars collided on the Loughgall road at around 2.45pm yesterday, Sunday 14 July.

A black Honda Civic and red Vauxhall Viva were involved.

Confirming the fatality on Monday, Inspector Hardy said: "The woman who died was the driver of the Vauxhall.

"We are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the Loughgall Road at the time and who may witnessed events leading up to the collision, or may have footage on their dashcams, to get in touch with police on 101, quoting reference number 1066 14/07/19."

Appeal Over Spate Of Break-Ins In Co Antrim
A spate of home and vehicle break-ins have occurred overnight in the County Antrim village of Dundrod. Police say a number of houses along the Tullyrusk Road were entered between the hours of midnight and 5am this morning, Monday 19 August. The family of a 60-year-old man from Lisburn are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety after he went missing on Wednesday. Albert Arnott was last seen at around 5pm in the Shaw's Bridge area. He was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a body warmer and drives a silver Seat Alhambra.

Lurgan Searches In Craigavon Dissident Bomb Probe
Police have carried out a number of searches in Lurgan following an attempt to murder serving officers in Craigavon last month. Dissident republicans left a booby-trap device in the Tullygally area of the town on the evening of Friday 26 July. The viable device was staged to resemble a fired mortar and designed to explode if touched.

Police have appealed to the public for help identifying a man who they believe may be able to assist an investigation into a burglary in County Antrim. A licensed premises on the Carnlough Road in Broughshane was targeted on Thursday 17 January.
