Appeal As Man Reported Missing From Co Armagh

Police have appealed for information as they track the whereabouts of a man reported missing from Lurgan, County Armagh.

Emmet Turley has disappeared from his home on Victoria Street, and police say his family are growing increasingly concerned.

A spokesperson said: "If you see him, or know where he is get in touch with us immediately on 101."

Omagh Route Reopens Following Fatal Collision

A main route in Omagh, County Tyrone has reopened to traffic following a fatal collision on Sunday evening, 21 July.

A 17-year-old boy died in the two-vehicle head-on collision, while three others were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.

The fatality was the passenger of a black Audi which collided with a white Mercedes.

Police have offered their condolences to the bereaved family, and thanked the public for their patience and understanding as the first investigative steps were carried out.

Lurgan Route Closes For Resurfacing

A key route in Lurgan has closed for resurfacing work today, 22 July.

Improvements will be delivered on the A26 Banbridge Road from the junction with Hall Road to the Ballynabragget Road junction.

This £240,000 scheme will run until Friday 30 August, subject to favourable weather conditions.

A daily weekday road closure has been implemented between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm to facilitate the work.

During these times traffic between Banbridge and Lurgan will be diverted via Gilford using the A26, A50 and B3 roads.  

Diversionary routes will be clearly signed and local access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times.

Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to leave additional time when travelling in the area.

Appeal Following Fatal Collision On Curr Road
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a fatal road traffic collision on Tuesday, 05 march between Omagh and Ballygawley. Shortly before 7.25pm on Tuesday evening, police received a report of a collision on the Curr Road involving a white BMW 320 and blue Scania lorry.

PSNI Appeal For Information Following Banbridge Shooting
PSNI Detectives have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in Banbridge on Friday, 12 April. Shortly after 8pm, it was reported that a man aged in his 40s had been shot in his abdomen while in the car park on Rathfriland Road. Taken to hospital, his condition has been described as serious.
